I just downloaded the free version of RealPlayer so I could listen to something for an online class, but it says "Connection to server could not be established. You may be experiencing network problems." How do I fix this?

Do other sites like BBC, NPR work? if they work, then the problem is not in your configuration.

What is the address for your stream? so we may check if it is working.

try uninstalling RealPlayer and installing this:

are you at home or at work?
perhaps you are behind a proxy of a firewall that could cause you trouble.
