It's over. House was on trial, checked himself into rehab to get Tritter to drop, but that didn't work. In the end, Cuddy perjured herself and testified that they were onto House and there was a placebo instead of Oxycontin in the 'script he got in the dead guy's name, so the court case was dropped. I was so tired of that plot line, I'm glad it's over. Oh, and in the very end we find out that House was actually getting painkillers from the rehab med-passing guy, bribed him or something, so he's not better in that regard but the plot line with Tritter seems over, finally.

You lost me at Chase killed someone. You have to help me on that one.

As for the drugs, that story will never end. House is a drug addict. Having a chronic pain condition only helps to get him his supply. I don't think he wants to have his leg fixed, that would curtail his drug use. Sure the pain stinks but he is constantly stoned so he hardly notices it.

If you are asking about the drug charges against him, they were dropped when Cuddy perjured herself on the witness stand and told the judge that House received placebos and not Oxycodone. The judge took her at her word. Tritter protested but the judge told him that she was not certain why he what House did to get Tritter so interested in his case but he should let it go. House asked Tritter if he should keep looking over his shoulder for a squad car. Tritter said that he would just give him the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, Cuddy thinks she owns House now. Wilson, on the other hand is convinced that House is still using and that he went into rehab just to get more vicodin without people knowing that is what he is doing.

So House is still using. Tritter "Says" he is not watching and Cuddy thinks she has House as her pet to do all the clinic hours she wants, to teach , and do whatever she wants. (She should put him out to stud while she is at it.)
