Hmmm Slope. Presumably of a line, as in a linear equation...

Carpenters when figuring out stairs and rafters.

Engineers when designing stuff

Investers looking at the rate of change of invesments.

Since rate of change is a type of slope, the answer is anyone who uses calculus. This includes, mathematicians, scientists, engineers, architects and economists.

Biggest users? Check out civil engineers. These women and men are very concerned when building roads and bridges, building and parking lots what "slopes" (in the mathematical sense!) are involved.
