So, I think I may be pregnant, I am on birth control but a vary low dosage, and some pills that i take have a high risk of cancelling out the pill, we dont use protection but he does pull out. I have a week and a coupel days before I am supposed to get my period. If I am pregnant and take a pregnancy test, what are the chances of the test telling me the correct answer?....

My understanding is that a HPT is still VERY accurate even if you are taking BC pills...read the box, im sure it was mentioned on there somewhere.

From my understanding you can't take a test untill at least 5 days before your period and most tests you have to be late for them to be any accurate anyway just wait till you're due and if it doesn't show go get the test and you still have plenty of time to exercise your options.

your likely to get a false result, even if you take a first response test. you should wait until you miss you period. If you dont want to wait that long just dont take the test anymore than 3 days before, or you'll be wasting money.
