I want to work as a Graphic Designer for Apple. What college courses would help me get the experience that I need?

From Apple.com:
"Software Skills
- Expert and hands-on knowledge of prototyping tools and graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
- Working knowledge of Macromedia Flash, Director, or Revolution.
- Expert knowledge of 3D software applications a plus.
- familiarity of Keynote, Pages, and iWeb is a big plus."

You really want to find a college which offers a major in Graphic Design, two of the best in the country are Full Sail in Orlando and The School of Visual Arts in NYC

It depends on how far you want to take your education. Do you just want a certificate in Graphic Designing or do you want a degree? Your best bet would be to go to the college you are attending or expecting to attend and go to the career center (most colleges should have), and they will basically provide you with what you need to know. After doing so, it might be wise to see a counselor and have them assist you in planning for it. It might take some of your time, but it's absolutely free, and if you're serious, than it'll be well worth it. Good Luck.

Its always good to have a portfolio especially for Graphic Design. Only to show them how good u r with softwares. If u r entering for your UnderGraduate, an art portfolio will work. If its PG than its better u have few software works.
