Dont bother. Its really only for appearance sakes and it does nothing to preserve it.
Case in point, 'ever seen them seal-coat a highway'?

you realy dont have to it provides some protection from degradation but in my opinoin not nearly enuogh for the money it manly for estitcs

It is suppose to keep it from cracking & getting holes in it.
