convincing love scenes in Brokeback Mountain?

They are both very good actors, I couldn't handle the love scenes so I only saw some of the movie, that is why I had to ask someone else. also, I couldn't understand a word Heath Ledger said. He sounded like my husband.

Heck no!!! This is Hollywood. And Jake is sexy as hell, but somehow still has an innocent, vulnerable little boy thing going on (Donny Darko, The Good Girl). I honestly believe (don't laugh) that he could be the next Johnny Depp. Heath is cool too. But Jake is yummy!!!!!

I don't. Actors and actresses don't get picked on what roles they played, it's how well they played the part. I didn't want to watch broke back mountain but everyone I have talked to say it's a really good movie. Plus I already know it isn't going to mess up either of their careers because Heathe Ledger was picked to play Joker in the new batman movie. And Jake is going to be on SNL this saturday and I heard he's filming a new movie.

i think that both of them might get more work. they proved that they can handle any situation and that they were professional with what was handed to them. some people might be caucious, but i think that most will think of it more as just acting. they had the courage to act in all the scenes where there was some stuff that most actors wouldnt do, but i appauld them for such good acting i was fooled.

i definitely don't think so. that movie strengthened both of their careers astronomically- except for bigots, anyone would want these two acting in their movies. they're both straight, and were incredibly convincing and their portrayals were so emotional and moving. and if people think that they were "too" convincing.... there is nothing wrong with that anyways. so bottom line- they are going to be even more successful in the years to come!

No way...I think they will both be in demand...it was a risk that paid off for them both...now if they came out of the closet in real life it would be harder to accept them as romantic male leads but hopefully we will get used to that idea after awhile.
