I am, going to a ball wearing long gloves, can I wear any jewellery on top of the gloves ie rings, bracelet?

I would not do it, it ruins the look of the gloves and can look silly. The only situation I would accept any jewellery is if you have black gloves and had a slim diamante bracelet over it, it would still be classy enough.

Remember the golden rule of accessories: If in doubt, go without!

From the look of the answers you have already to your question, I think you can tell that it is a matter of personal taste - so if you wore none, or just one bracelet, or bracelet and rings, or just rings, or loads of both, it would be acceptable by at least 20 per cent of the other guests at the ball!
Just try it yourself along with your outfit and see what you think.
For me if I decided to wear jewellery with long gloves I would probably steer clear of the ring, unless it is bling bling (after all you are going to a ball, it is supposed to be a bit glitzy) or wear simple pieces but make sure that they all match - so a necklace and bracelet set...
Remember though that most people don't go to a party and pick people's outfits to pieces - most of the time if you have an air of confidence about what you are wearing (probably doesnt work with the cat outfit...) no-one will question it.

Will I get sweaty hands? - No you wouldn't be getting sweaty hands! Are there more advantages to wear them than not to wear them? - Most of the boys love girls with gloves so you will get attention from boys for sure! :) Did they annoy you after some time? - I Dont think it will annoy u because they make u feel good and people looking at you also will get closer to you! Did you keep them to eat and to dance? - Never mind keeping them! Also, did you notice a greater attention to you from the others (boys from instance)? If i would have been there and see u in gloves i would straight away try getting closer to u as a friend and many others also will be looking at u! Were other girls who were not wearing long gloves jealous of you? - Probably No! Did you notice that, for instance, there were boys who were trying to touch or hold your hands just to feel your gloves (well, you know, many boys are attracted to this kind of gloves ;-) )? - Well this is kind of weak point for the boy when a girl wears the gloves as it makes them look beautiful and attracted! :)

No, that would look horrible. You could wear a bracelet under the gloves, you probably aren't going to keep them on all night. but i would recommend just wearing a nice necklace, and have fun

I wouldn't recommend any rings, but like a small, delicate, diamond (or whatever jewels that match the dress) bracelet would be really nice. I LOVE elbow gloves...they're so classy! Have tons of fun! ;)

Sure you can... Rings i wouldn't apart from a large dress ring but would prob leave the ring and opt for a diamond/diamonte cuff bracelet. Think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's... Good luck and have a nice time!

depends on the style of the gloves. if they are like fitting to your arm then you can do with a diamond braclet on one arm. Or you can do a ring too but DONT DO BOTH! have fun at the ball
