Someone in my house took the liberty of burning a copious amount of incense. Now the smell has filled the house and is giving me one of the biggest headaches I've ever had, and it's also sticking to everyone's clothing. I can't open any windows (my house is really old)...help.

If you have some box fans, put them at the open doors so they can move the air faster. And try a bowl w/ white vinegar in each room.

Open windows, turn on fans, open doors.. it might be cold for awhile but it will get the smell out.
fans especially to circulate the air..the smell wont move out unless the air is moving.
Find out who burnned the incense and ask them not to again.

As for not being able to open windows .. UGH! are they painted shut? take a knife and run it along the edges of the windows to break the paint seal... oil the hinges ... push , pull and tug but be careful not to break them.
I could never live in a place where I could not open the windows.. I need the occasional bit of fresh air!

I use (because I smoke) those air purification systems offered by Ionic and they work big time!!! Short term, I open the house every morning for an hour...................you may have to rent a fan that pulls it out of the house....they are not hard to find to rent.

I would recommened opening windows, but since you can't..... you might have to wait it out. How about opening your door? Or turn fans on to cirulcate the smelly air outside

If you have a fan over your stove I'd start that up, and open the doors maybe.
