Well smarty, I did eat it. I didn't notice it was raw unitl almost the last bite. It was Chicken Cordon Blu, so it was filled with melted swiss cheese and covered in bernaise sauce.

Call your OB/GYN and tell her what happened to you. Also stay away from deli meats, raw cheeses and milks. If you have any digestive discomfort, fever, you should go to the ER. And what kind of jerks would charge you for any part of the meal especially after serving a pregnant woman raw meat? I would call the Dept of Health and report them for serving unsafe food. Especially if you get sick.

I ate uncooked hamburger while I was pregnant and had severe Ecoli infection plus a secondary infection that I was hospitalized with for a month. I don't think chicken is the same although it does have the potential of Salmonella. Watch how you feel, if you start having bowel movements that are straight blood, with severe cramping, go to the hospital. I was also served less than cooked chicken before and didn't notice until I was halfway through it, I was fine. Good Luck.

What I am wondering is how did you just find out you were served raw chicken? Did you not order your own food? And the other thing is how could you not notice when you were eating the chicken that it was raw? Did you mean it was undercooked ? If it was undercooked still how did you eat it to begin with. If you went to eat at someones house and they had some wierd recipe with raw chicken still how did you even eat it? I dont see how you havent thrown up . Raw chicken is nasty. If you are for sure that it was raw or even undercooked just walk into the bathroom and stick your finger in your mouth and make yourself throw up. The problem with eating raw or undercooked chicken is because there is always the chance that it has salmonella it will not hurt your baby but it could cause you to get severe diarrhea and dihydrate which then could hurt your baby. There is more risk of eating unclean vegetabales that may have e. coli than eating raw chicken in terms of being pregnant also pate and soft cheeses you shouldnt eatten while pregnant because these can make you have a miscarriage because of the chance of Listeria which will affect an unborn baby. Shark and swordfish shouldnt be eaten or really any large sea fish because of the high levels of mercury. But as for the raw chicken the only one that it might hurt is your own tummy and butt if you get diarrhea.

Watch you're self very carefully, if you start to feel even a little bit sick, contact you're doctor right away, I went through the same thing with my first pregnancy, but luckly I found it before I got too sick, if you're doctor isn't available, go to the nearest emergency room and explain what has happend.

Talk with your doctor ASAP. And if you start feeling the least bit ill, call for an ambulance.
