I am in grade 12 in Ontario right now and it's almost the end of semester one. I have advanced functions and introductory calculus (MCB4U), and geometry and discrete mathematics (MGA4U) next semester.

I have applied for electrical engineering at u of toronto, u of waterloo, and ryerson u.

I want to buy a graphing calculator so I can use it next semester, and continue to use it if I get accepted to one of these universities.

Now, should I buy a TI-89 Titanium, TI-84 Plus, or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition?

I would go with the TI-89
you can download more programs onto it and it does 3D graphing

Contact each university and find out which calculators they recommend for their engineering majors, then buy one of those models.
