I am having some pretty weird things going on lately that I have been told could indicate labor not being far off. I get sudden hot flashes where I cannot seem to cool down, I feel light headed and sometimes a little dizzy, and the latest thing, I am starting to get very nauseas and am vomitting throughout the day for no reason. I know that everyone is different but I have had a few women tell me that this happened to them a week or two before labor began. Any advice or thoughts on this?

I know there isnt a way to tell for sure I am just curious of others experiences!

Later in pregnancy nausea can be caused by the baby pushing down on the cervix. Also hot flashes and dizziness are more and more common the later in pregnancy you get.

I would check with your doctor. While nausea and vomiting could be a sign labor is coming on dizziness and hot flashes could be symptoms of other things such as high blood pressure, hypertension, toxemia, pre-eclampsia etc. I would have this looked into a little more!

Good Luck!

My sure sign was little muscle twinges at the very top of my thighs on both sides. Three kids and these twinges came 3-5 days before each of them! Good luck

If you are late in pregnancy then labor is usually right around the corner : )

It sounds more like you need to go get your blood pressure checked.
