my period is comming soon. i should start wearing pantyliners at school. just in case i get my period in class and i cant go to the washroom becuase my male teacher might not understand. if i DO get my period during class, how many hours does the pantyliner hold up to before it leaks? i get a break around every 1 and a half hours

From what I have learned Pantiliners are only for the in between times of having your period when you spot lightly. You should be using a full size kotex as this will absorb any torrential flood. Take a couple of extras along for the day and put them in your purse - "now-a-days kotex" are not any longer the giant mattress pads from days gone by - also keep some wipes on hand to keep you fresh - a lady should always be prepared for "girl emergencies". If you are using tampons make sure that you change them every 3-4 hours as you don't want bacteria developing and causing you medical problems.

It all depends upon your flow.If it is heavy it wd be advisable to change the liners twice a day.

about 30min to and hour but it shouldnt be that heavy in the very beggining

i doesn't last really long, like about an hour or so to the max.
