Cheddar is my favorite -- the sharper, the better!
A close second is Swiss cheese.
And a close third-place tie is mozzarella and gouda.
Maybe I should just say that I love cheese! ;)

My favourite cheese is called "queso tierno" and you only find it in the Canary Islands, Spain.
I'm sorry to say that Americans generally don't have their palate trained to savour exquisite cheeses found in Europe. The average american cheese is not much worth, believe me...

genuine Italian Bufalo Mozzarella. And Havarti isn't American, doh! that is Danish!!!! Brie and Camembert is magnificent if eaten in France, room temperature. With some magnificent bread, wine and fruit. Bla Gotland is likewise scrumptious, yet very puzzling to acquire!
