Okay i am 5 and a half months preganant i love the father (my boyfriend) very much! But there is a problem he had a baby from his ex about almost 2 years ago! He hardly ever gets to see her and she is about to have a baby brother! But his ex dont want her near me because she dont like me! Okay well i dont know her personally and vice versa! So i am confused because we really want to spend time with his daughter before we move into a new city! What should i do??

Well, in all fairness to the kids, the parents have to knock it off. it's not about them anymore. he needs to talk to her and say he wants his daughter to know she has a baby brother on the way, and that he loves her very much. not many ex's get along with new gf's so that is something that has to be dealt with. I got one of those and a step-daughter! anwyas just pound it in their heads, it's about those kids now, not them.

maybe you should try talking to his ex. you said she doesn't know you- well if my man left me and got some other woman i have never met pregnant and she wants to spend time with my daughter i would be against it- because i dont know her.... but if she came to me and told me that she thinks its important for my daughter to get to know her dad and her new little brother and that she only had my daughter and her sons best interest in mind i would try to make it work out- because in the end it is best for the children to know eachother, it gives them someone young they can count on to be there when things get crazy.
