This isnt a "question". a + b = c is a rule. If you had something (called 'a') + something called (b) ; it will give you (c) - which is the total of a + b.
By the way, ( a or b or c could be any number) -- Ex. below
But you could get an answer of course w/ something like this.
--If a = 3 and b = 2, solve for c.
a + b = c
3 + 2 = 5
-- If c = 5 and b = 2, solve for a.
a + b = c
a = c - b
a = 5 - 2
a = 3
-- Hope this helps!

More information is needed, if you want a unique solution.
It just means that c is equal to the value of a plus b.
Ex. if a=1 and b=2 then c = 3
or if a=1000 and b=567 then c=1567
or if a=456 and b=5 then c= 461, etc.
There is a infinite number of solutions, if you don't give more information.

A plus B equals C
What is C?
C is A plus B.
It is just a way of confusing you instead of saying, 5 + 3=8
What is 8?
8= 5+3

a could equal anything and b could equal anything. then c is anything plus anything.
there is no real answer to this.
a could be 1956 and b is 44. then c must equal 2000(just example)
