Does anyone ever see regular Joes wearing tan Timberland work boots? There was a time I thought they were cool, and I even had a pair or two. But eventually, the fact that they were huge in the hip-hop crowd, coupled with my not wanting to be perceived as a "wigga," became a huge turn-off for me. Just for the record, however, I never wore mine with baggy jeans -- I don't even own those or any other stereotypically hip-hop attire such as oversize jerseys, bubble jackets, etc. Nor would I ever wear them unlaced or too big or even tuck my pants into them. Just for the record, I'd say my overall style would be preppy-ish, with a little bit of blue collar influence (I like flannel shirts, regular-fit jeans, and work boots of any kind -- not just Timberlands).
And in closing, although this is somewhat off-topic, let me just say that I think Timberlands that aren't wheat, rust, or black nubuck are butt-ugly. And I've never thought girls should wear Timberlands -- too masculine.

I see it all the time where I live. Timerlands are the best work boots made, and the guys I see wearing them wear them for that reason...and they don't care that some people don't like them because of another portion of society that does.
We're not slaves to fashion or other's opinions where I live...we're just a bunch of regular Joes trying to make a living, and wearing Timerland boots while doing it.
And yes, I wear Timberlands too....both boots and low quarters.

I understand what you mean when you say that..BUT - you're not right at all! If you like Timberland work boots and you think they look nice on you - then wear them as you please. It is wrong to say that only "ghetto" people wear Timberlands because they do not. Anyone and everyone can wear Timberlands. Even you should wear Timberlands if you still like them...that doesnt make you "ghetto".

I have seen a non "ghetto" guy wear timberlands before. It looked nice because his jeans were not to baggy. All you have to do is know how to wear them right.

I used to be ghetto in highschool. But not anymore, and I still wear Timberland boots once in a while.

yes i seen some like construction workers wearing it and alot of people. im from india and i wear it when it snows. ur racist and ur judging a whole group of people timberland were made for every one.u can wear what u want to wear stop being judgemental. im not ghetto at all. but why do ppl think ghetto people do bad things i mean i seen people who wear shoes and fitted pants doing crimes. this question is really stupid. clothes were made for every one not just one group of people. if a girl who wasnt indian she can wear a sari. being ghetto is just a cultrual thing like being punk'd and gothic

I'm just an average white guy, and I love my Tims...I wear them every time I get the chance. Either with baggy, stacked levis, or any jeans for that matter....oh yeah, I almost forgot, camo looks cool too...
You just got to know how to wear em, and Tims, are for everybody...

I live in America a scene tons of regular guys wearing Tim's. They sometimes do it with ambercrombie.
