what if rappers, singers, actors, and actress ran for president? would it be cool or lame, voice your opinion.

For one thing, they better know current affairs and have some ideas to make the world better. I'm not going to vote for someone because they are some celeb. Their talent should be skills in leadership, knowing the issues of the country and the world and how to make life better for everyone. That's how they would get my vote.

Depends on which one it is. I can't very well see Flava Flav running for President, though it'd be funny as hell, hahaha! The Flava of Politics. Or maybe Chingy, he could be America's Ballin President. Hrm no maybe not. How about 50 for Pres with Eminem for Vice? There'd be trailer park girls runnin round the outside of the White House thinkin it was a candy shop. Jim Jones wouldn't need Air Force One, he's already flyin high.
I just really don't take most singers, etc seriously. They're good at what they do, but politics? I could see Diddy taking a stab at it in a decade or so maybe, but precious few others.

It would be lame and annoying. It wouldn't be the worst, but not very cool either. If Justin Timberlake were President, that'd change my opinion though...

i know few actors, rappers, actresses, or socialites who seem intelligent enough to be a decent human being, let alone president.
the indie fraction of the music industry, though, isn't too bad - they actually know something about politics. mindblowing.

As long as they know what they are talking about, and I feel comfortable in knowing that they are capable of making the right decisions, then I wouldnt mind at all.
You know, we are all capable of doing everything we put our mind to. Hell, if Bush can do it ...anyone can

I think it would be extremely if Arnold could run. But there are several that I would never want in that position.
