Prices vary radically depending on what kind - but you gave no specs nor location (labor varies by region also)
Materials on a light weight mobile could start around $50K, a more conventional 3/2 medium grade at $200K and better grade 4/3 would be about $300K.
Not really factored is the infrastructure as you may be doing a demo and they are already in OR you may be starting on a wholly new parcel with no infrastructure in place yet.
And all of this presumes you already own the land for the house, if not , then it is more.

an problem-free staggering 4 mattress room abode value 3 hundred-500 thousand on the marketplace by proprietor in dallas, yet you could build one for merely approximately 500, so if the problem-free on your component to the county is 750, you could in all danger be waiting to construct a house for 500 besides, the actual belongings there could be worth 250 although. you will get a quote from section shape agencies in case you have have been given plans that are structural (not floor layouts or theory paintings)

If you are providing all of hte labor, maybe hiring the skilled stuff like electric, plumbng, brick laying--take about 30 to 35 percent off the cost of new homes that are like what you want to build in your area. That figure would include the cost of the lot or acreage in it.

You CAN build your own REAL (looks just like any other) house using more natural resources, like strawbales and mud plaster for the inside and outside walls for anywhere from $30-60 sq. foot and even less if you are a skilled plumber and/or electrician. Google or Wiki "Strawbale" and you will be pleasantly surprised at not only the money you save, but the energy that will be saved, as well, for the insulation on strawbale houses are anywhere from R30-R45, plus you a recycling a material that would normally be burned and produce bad gases into the environment.
