which is better and doesn't ruin your nails that much, tips or silk?

Silk is more natural but tips are stronger, so it depends on how hard you are on your nails. Also I don't think silk will last as long. As far as which one won't ruin your nails as much, I think you need to check with a nail tech for that.

tips don't ruin your nails as much, as you are covering only the 'tips' not the whole nail, like silk, which is also really thick. for me, i would just get my nails shaped, so I don't have to file the top down at all to get artificial nails.
