I've only seen the Leeuloop on the internet and didn't care much for it, but my friends in South Africa can't seem to have a braai without it! I've come to enjoy it just as much and I'm a colored boytjie from the Western Cape! What's the appeal?

Porgie, the Leeuloop is the worst piece of rubbish I have seen in ages AND everyone loves it. Simply; few people seem to have tatse. The great thing though is to see the support that Afrikaans music is currently enjoying. Our Afrikaans stars seems to eb outselling even international stars here in South Africa.

It's the controversy, especially the censorship violations, that are making Leeuloop (Lion's walk) take on a life of it's own. It's a very popular song by Robbie Wessels, a sexy video that includes fruit, a dance with seductive moves, and a commercial that has been yanked from the air--all rolled up into one.

like you, I also grow to be uncertain if i'd watch it, and wanting to demonstrate screen and that i'm so happy that I did. It grow to be this form of documentary that as you watch, you've a ill feeling inyour abdomen, yet to boot a burning favor to attempt to do some thing. It fairly grow to be a terrible topic, that desires to be regarded and condemned by using the international. I grew up with some ladies who were from South Africa (they were white), and after I search for suggestion from them now (we are all in our 20s), they are so relieved that their moms and dads left. Had they stayed, that's amazingly in all probability that they'd were raped, and would have had a severe chance of arising HIV. thanks for the question, and elevating knowledge of this unhappy, unhappy concern...

I never liked Robbie Wessels but then one day I saw the "Leeuloop" ad on tv and it was so funny. I think he's actually quite cute! It was a real rugby ad and that's why the people like that song so much. I'm not a huge fan but he makes me laugh and that's all that count.
