I think it does - being a child of the 80s.
The music was variable for the very, very bad to the very, very good and some of the fashions were really good (again some dodgy ones)
As with any decade there are alsways those things that people choose to forget and I think art of the problem is that there was no single icon of the 80s which people can associate with. The 60s had the Beatles, 70s was the birth of Disco, 90s had Take That and the Norties are just awful IMHO

The 80's rock! I was born in it! But i think they just treat it as a whole cheesy period which is a bit sad... The 80's was cool!

terrorist IS NOT only muslims. This makes me very angry when i hear this. How about the Schools of the Americas? Are they not terrorists? They kill innocent people in their and other countries. Muslims are not all terrorists. There are many others. Just because someone has olive colored skin, dark hair and eyes, have a full grown beard and have a name like hussein or mohammed DOES not mean that they are a terrorist. Get over these assumptions and think about it. If someone is an extremist and kills people for no apparent reason then yes they are a terrorist. I dont care if they are asian, american, hispanic, black, white... IF THEY KILL FOR THE SAKE OF NOTHING THEY ARE A TERRORIST... not because they are muslim.

Yeah, it's always going out with other decades behind the 80s' back, and when it comes home it makes a mess and makes the 80s do really degrading acts.

I looked at myself in a photo from 1987. Well at the time I thought my white blonde perm parted in the centre, my turquoise cotton exercise set worn with pointy white flats looked amazing! Well not! But it was so fun..new order, erasure etc. I feel a bit dated but I loved the 80s

The 80s did that for itself. The music was fantastic, everything else was just terrible
