I want to study something that will make good money and also have available jobs. What major should I study? Any suggestions for a minor as well?

Fashion and interior design are two separate fields. You could study either at the right school (RISD for example). The other option is to major in one and minor in the other. The third is to major in art in general.

Study CAD (Computer Aided Design), marketing, and Art History/Art Appreciation, photography/videography, psychology and sociology, as your minors. Those will help you in studying either Fashion Design or Interior Design. The chances of becoming very rich and/or famous in Fashion Design are very slim but if you do make it to the big time, you will make a PILE of money. As an interior designer, you will make decent money but no interior designer (including the ones at the top) will ever make as much money as Calvin Klein or Versace.
