yes. I have cowgirl boots (steve madden), I have round toed leather right below the knee boots (fitzwell or something zappos.com), some snow boots (thrift store) and tan suede shoe boot things (bp nordstrom)Yup boots are great for winter and fall.

if i don't have dress shoes on for work,or am running around barefooted at home, i usually wear a six-inch hiking boot to help support my bad ankle

no. never cared for any of them. i wear steel-toed boots only because work requires it.
