Why not spend it on both? Besides it depends on where the giftcard is to. If it goes to Aeropostale or AE I would spend some of it on clothes. If it goes to Claires or anywhere like that I would spend some of it on make up. So it really depends where the giftcard is to. Well thats my opinion.

Clothes because they last longer and I don't get to buy very many things for myself. Besides, I am allergic to so many different cosmetics that I have to be very careful what I buy, and I wouldn't want to waste a giftcard on that.

If it is for a lot, I would put it towards a peice of clothing that you wouldnt otherwise be able to buy. Something classic that will never go out of style. You will have it forver and everytime you wear it, you will be able to think of the person that got it for you.

Clothes. I love clothes. But if its alot of money than spend it half and half. If its like $20 then what ever is cheaper. lol! hope this makes sense. lol!â¥

Make up. It's rarely on sale and you can always find bargains on clothes.
