Roughly half the number of people who voted ---I know it's debatable--- in the 2002 election voted for an imbecile named George W Bush. In 2006, after 4 years of the aforementioned imbecile's catastrophic bumbling, even MORE people voted for him!
People are attracted to stupidity (including stupid movies).
And THAT, dear readers, is The 10-Point Answer. *wink*
BTW... I rented the film on the INCREDIBLY hyped recommendation of my sister-in-law's entire family. They RAVED about it and told me to rent it IMMEDIATELY. I did, and it was one of the WORST film experiences of my life (and I've seen a LOT of movies). It is one of only 2 or 3 films ---EVER--- that I have not watched to completion.

I thought it was terrible as well, I guess ppl liked it because it was pointless. This is what is happening to society nowadays, we enjoy these mindless, brainless movies. You know the "lets not use our heads too much" kind of movies. I pity these ppl...

cuz it frickin' rocks. you gotta watch it more than once, especially if you didn't catch the humor in it. the movie was made almost entirely of funny happenstances and inside jokes from the personal lives of the producers/directors. the speech and one-liners the characters use in the movie will live on forever in those who understand the humor.

It's one of those movies that's so stupid it's kinda funny. The first time I watched it I thought it was retarded. But I gave it another chance, now I own it.

wait- are you joking...they clapped because he made a fool of himself for a lengthy *** time...and he did not end!!!- nicely, yeah, he stopped, yet he went on continuously...and it replaced into probable as exciting because the elections ought to get. i ought to've clapped as well.

You have to watch it in a quiet room all by yourself and listen very carefully to what they are saying and think of insulting comments/words to say about them then it will be a lot more entertaining.
