i want to write something on microsoft word, however i want it to have a border. Nothing fancy just a plain straight line border.... i went to microsoft but they advise me to go to view, then click on design... however there isnt a design option under view? Thanks in advance

While in Word:

Select the Format menu
Boarders and shading
Select page boarder from the small tabs at the top
Select a boarder from the selection
Click Ok

From the menu and the microsoft website you can download more borders to add.

Format, Borders and shading, Then a window appears you can go to the middle tab page border then down to Art and even change the border to little christmas trees or whatever you want

You can usually put line borders around things in word by double clicking on the photo that you want and doing format image. If its text, then just insert a text box.

Open a Word document

At the top menus choose:
FORMAT > BORDERS AND SHADING

On the top of the new window find the:
PAGE BORDER

Choose your styles :)
