ok.here is the deal. i have been getting prank phone calls on my cell.i think i know who they are from but im not sure.the number comes up private and they have called me from the 28th of dec. until now and are still calling me.when they call i either hit ignore or answer,talk,and then hang up bcuz they wont talk.if i answer,talk,and hang up they will keep calling me and if i dont answer they keep calling me.i think i know who it is so i told the person i know that knows them and they said that she hasnt had her phone for awhile (the person who pranks me) but i dont know if it is her or not. i went to my verizon acount on the comp. and it also says private.my friend went to a website when she got pranked and it told her but she cant remember the website. the website wasnt verizon i know that. if you know any websites that i can go to please tell me bcuz this is getting pretty annoying.please help if you can.thanks.

type the phone number in google starting with area code. A name might come up.
Else, can you put a block on the number as your phone is ringing? Check with your carrier.

The easiest way is to notify Verizon and they will probably do the work for you. If you don't go that route, you can set up what's called a trap line. It's too length too explain on here. You can research it on the internet. A trap line will show you the number it is coming from.

well they dont talk bcuz u wud no the voice so u do no the pranker...and to call sum one private u dial star (*) 67...*67 then area code n number i dont think u can unblock a blocked number but u can call ur cell phn co. n have a block put on ur phn...if u do that then ur cell wont accept private numbers and u wont even no they called u wud still get "unknown" and numbers like that!!! u jst wudnt get "private" calls and then the private caller wud ether hang up and call "unprivate" or jst leve u alone

If it's from a home phone check www.whitepages.com or www.thewhitepages.com. I don't remember which.I t tells you who lives in a specific house and their number. My friend once had the same problem and ordered the guy 100 dollars worth of pizza. I can't help if it's a cell phone. Sorry.

I don't have an answer, but if it's coming up private, go to your carriers website, and read it. It may have some clues as to where you can go next.
Also, go onto the internet, and research.

YOU CAN NOT TRACE PRIVATE OR ANONYMOUS CALLS , THERE IS NO WEB SITE THAT CAN HELP YOU , NOT THAT I KNOW OF.
