my quad wont idle it only will run if you give it gas it runs fine as long as you dont try to run it on bottom whats up with that?

073 huh? great minds think alike i guess. lol .. your best bet is to check the pilot jet its more than likly cloged ,it takes care of fuel flow from idle to about a 1/4 throtle. clean it and motor away

Most frequent cause, if this is a new problem that started all of a sudden, is a vacuum line broken or disconnected. If you just had the carb worked on, then its probably out of adjustment on the low speed jet, or the idle speed screw.

There is Junk in the carborator. go to any autoparts store and buy a can called "carb and choke cleaner" take the carborator apart and spray all the stuff out, everything. it will work perfectly after that.

try// turning idle screw up little bit// see if it will idle if not// plug all vacuum lines if not get new carb or try rebuild that one
