The blood was there from a recent hunting trip. I bagged myself a nice young buck and was able to compact it into my trunk. I wrapped it well, but there was still some spillage.

Mix up a bucket of 1 cup laundry soap (Tide works best) to one gallon hot soapy water. Then dissolve 6-8 contact lens enzymatic cleaner tablets in the water. The tablets will help break down the proteins in the blood. It make take several times to get it all out, but it will work. You can get an lingering smell out by sprinkling the carpet with baking soda, letting it set for several hours, and vacuuming it up.

I have found that a mixture of clorex and water works well, however it can leave some damming evidence. At first I died the carpet after a kill but that lead to an awful ammonia smell for weeks or so.Next I tried a mixture of soap and water and rented a rug doctor. That worked great however trace elements of blood still showed up on infra red under the carpet it'self. My final solution was.Removing the carpeting and cleansing the bare trunk space 2 parts clorex 1 part ammonia 1 part h20,Recarpeting of course and than your good as new.Im not sure yet if this will work with human blood,I will let you know later

Light the car on fire after you take it to the city. Then report it stolen. That way any trace evidence will burn up.
