Whatever happend to Star Craft 3??

When i was in middle school 6-8 years ago there people kept saying that blizzard entertainment was making a Starcraft 3 and it would come out in 3 years....but over 5-6 years passed....and still no news of starcraft 3. have anyone heard of it??

They never even put out StarCraft 2, unless you count the Brood War Expansion.

I know they cancelled the production of Starcraft Ghost, but I don't know about SCIII.
