NO. Do some research before you get here. Look up modeling agencies on the web and call them to establish communication. Tell them what you want to do and they can direct you to do what needs to be done by you.
Same for TV. Look up AFTRA, they will have info that will help you.
L.A. isn't exacltly the best place to model. I think NY might be a better destination.
Keep in mind that you may be the prettiest girl in your town, but pretty girls are a dime a dozen out here.

You better be hott!!! Get a good agent. And become a waitress in the meantime. thats how they get discovered. Good luck.
