The `80s version was Bow Wow Wow featuring the young Annabella Lwin - a charming young thing with a penchant for stripping off.The band featured members from Adam`s original Ants.
The original version though was by Brian Poole & The Tremeloes in the `60s - interestingly he is the father of Alisha`s Attic girls Karen and Shelley Poole .

A bit more info: the singer was called Annabella Wu Lin, and she was discovered in a laundrette by Malcolm McLaren, the guy behind the Sex Pistols. He poached a number of members of the Ants (as in Adam and the Ants) to make up the band, which had a similar sound - drum-heavy. Controversy: for one of their album covers, band members posed in a recreation of a famous painting (can't remember its name at the mo), including Annabella. Under 16 at the time, she posed naked - illegal.
