my friends life is boring and she keeps complaining about it how do i make her shut up?

Tell her life is too short to keep ragging about it. The only way to get over it is for her to change. Try taking a few chances in life.You can only laugh at things when your willing to laugh at your self. Just ask her in twenty years from now, is she still going to be stuck where she is. Or is she going to take charge of her life are start moving forward?

I can relate to that. I can actually say that I am boring. I have 2 daughters, 5 & 3. My best friend (no children) comes over & stays for a while. My girls absolutely LOVE her to the point where she can't even stand up because of the fact that they jump all over her.
Anyway, there's times where she asks me to go out & have a "girls nite out". I can't. I have kids & a husband. I have responsibilities now. BELIEVE ME.... I would LOVE to go out & have fun like we used to when we were younger, but those days are gone. My hubby says to go out w/ her, but he would have to go out also w/ the guys. HINT: he's a "dirty" truck driver.

life isn't boring. you have to make it exciting. tell her that that's her problem that her life is boring, not yours. and to stop complaining!

tell her to try something new. like an activity such as rock climbing.
