so i have to create a magazine about the past and the present...i'm not sure what to name the magazine though..any suggestions?...(i'm talking about the 50's...if thats any help at all)

Most popular magazines are called by one word - with other subordinate words following in small type. So, I would name it one of the following:
FASHION
Past and Present
FASHION
Yesteryear and Today
FASHION
Then and Now
Or the first word could be CHIC, ELEGANCE, or TRENDS followed by Past and Present, Yesterday and Today, or Then and Now.

I think you should come up with some combination of the words "neo" for new and "retro" for the old. Can't wait to check your magazine out!
