I had to read that more than once to make sure that I read it right!...Do u know what I don't think that she does because some of that sounds abnormal! Sorry to say but its true!....she can try and sit him down and talk but I don't think that it'll make much difference!...men like that 'love' their mothers and usually the wife has no chance.....tell her to get out of there and find a real life with real love that we all deserve and rightly have....aww poor woman!
(Also when his mother goes to the great gig in the sky it wont be any better...because then he'll be grieving for the rest of his life and he'll then blame his wife and say you never liked my mum you always moaned etc etc....a never ending circle of misery....aww I really hope that she finds a man that loves and respects her!)

Did the wife not spot any of this when she was going out with him before marriage?
He will continue to behave like that all the time the wife allows it. Maybe she could suggest they have some alone time.
If he is that hung up on his mother it wont pay to make an enemy of her, maybe it would be better to be friends with her and try and get her on side?

No and in fact this sounds a bit incestous
He was supposed to forsake all others-so much for the vow
I dated a guy like this whose mother invited him to a friends house with her to set them up while we were dating and he didnt see anything wrong with this-i dumped him.
she deserves better but whether or not it will happen is up to her.
My family always says "Start out the way you intend to go on" In other words if it wont be cute 5 minutes/hours/days/months/years from now then its not cute at all now and you need to make that known

to be honest ,,with out sounding rude in any way shape or form most men get married , but in reality just want to feel the security that there mother gives to them as a child
lets face it ,, a child can do no wrong in a mothers eyes
but when we grow up and get married , most men cannot handle the pressure like a women can
we never grow up,,were selfish,, yeah we try,but hey no body can love us with all our faults like our mothers can
so try to under stand a little ,,but make it known its you or his mother
lets face it mothers can be loving but what really matters to mosty men is sex we cannot live with out it so thats where youve got us by the short and curlies
and no mother can even come close
lay the law down babes dont be a door mat youve got every right to be in the drivers seat but youve got to endorse it

the mother will die first and then the husband will spend all his time and attention on his wife. sounds good to me. most men rarely pay attention to the mother or the wife.... so this guy sounds like he has good possibilities to be wonderful partner !

try talking to him. tell him u are feeling left out and if this does not change him, leave
or u could talk to the mum as well and tell her to try and see everything from a womans point of view. it could help. pray also. it is the greatest power on earth
