We are used to the tropics and now live 8500 ft above where we used to and there has been snow on the ground for serveral months. We keep getting snow every few days. The cold is brutal here most days highs around 27 with lows sometimes around 10 and 15 below zero with wind chills of 30 below at times. We stay inside alot but try to be active doing things here and there but are subject to aches and pains and sensations such as feeling like our breathing is funny but not really out of breath. We have been checked over by two doctors with no problems..Everyday seems really weird ..Faces feeling funny.. getting hot in the face and neck feeling like moisture but none..kind of clammy..We want to sleep alot and get exhaused easily . Heads stay like we are spacey sometimes when snow is coming in but clear enough to preform minor things that we do.Arms and legs feel strange and necks hurt alot.. A million and one sensations..Is this normal for such a change..If you exprienced any of this Please?

yes I feel the same way sometimes... and to compare it's not even really snowing here that much... cold weather is very depressing... even the people who are used to cold still feels the same. I think it's normal for such a change to think that you (and me) came from a tropical country that mostly have a warm weather.

Your probably sick because your posting this on the Philippines answer page instead of the health answer page.
