No. What appears to be a munchkin dropping down from the ceiling in a scene is actually a stork stretching its wings. Took me about 15 minutes and watching the video in stop-action to determine it, but that's what it was.
No hanging Munchkins, sorry.
Oh, and to one of the previous posters - "clarified by 'those guys who investigate things'?" Are you kidding? Jeez!

Nope, it's a myth. People thought there was a munchkin hanging himself in the background of one of the scenes in the Wizard of Oz, turns out it was a bird.
