why is it that some people on here are completely rude when they answer questions??? weren't they ever taught that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all?

The reason these people are mean (I think) is because that: 1) They had a bad day at work & that they don't want to answer nicely. 2) They are just jealous because they can't answer a question as well as anyone else. 3) And, last-They weren't taught to say anything nice or apologize for something they had done wrong---I have proof of that from some of my "family members"

i know I've just asked a question and a really rude person replied and called me a dope theres no need for it, this is the first time I've used the site and have been a bit put off!!!

There are probably people on this site that are only interested in making fun or being very rude to people.
Ignore them, they should look at themselves.

I agree with you, I think people that are rude were brought up by rude people so to them is a normal thing to treat people this way.
