I can't afford to buy a good size pen for my two average size dogs
(60 To 70 LBs). I would like to build a home made one suitable for the two. Any sugestions will help..thank you

Hey Doe Doe;
We had the exact same dilemma when we had to house our dogs. We went to a local hardware store and bought metal post poles and non-climbable fencing. It didn't take long at all to put up, and then later we installed some fence posts and added a gate. We also built them a shed attached to it with old pallets. With a few sheets of 1/4" plywood, you can build a pretty good dog house and dog run!
Just remember when you're building it, that the fencing needs to be buried at least 6" into the ground, and you may even want to reinforce that with large rocks in the ditch around the fences baseline. Dogs are masters of digging!!!

Buy some cheap 2x4s at a home center (or you can probably find enough on the curb on big junk day). Build a frame and cover with wire mesh. You can even paint your name above the door in case you get in trouble with your spouse:)
