(1) You won't be able to become a detective right away -- you would have to start at a lower rank and move up. However, with more degrees behind your name, you may be able to become a detective more quickly than someone without these degrees.
(2) You can get a masters without majoring in psychology. However, it might be more difficult and you may have to take a few extra classes to catch up.
(3) Criminal Justice/Psychology is a great field and it's great that you're pursuing this. I did the same undergrad combo and now I'm doing a JD/PhD with law/clinical psych. It's absolutely fascinating and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in this field

You can't directly leave school and become a detective. You will have to work your way up through the ranks. Anyone who leaves college with their degree will not instantly get the job they want, but they will get paid more while working their way up then others.
Get involved! Most campuses offer organizations for people who want to go down your career path. See if you can intern at local police stations. If you live in the D.C. area you can intern at the CIA. Internships can often lead to successful careers in less amount of time if you were to never intern somewhere. Networking is everything!
Also, you can get your masters in psychology- it will just take longer. You will have to take supplemental classes and capstones. Good luck!

as for masters you're gonna have to run to catch up. probably way behind in credits leading to. nothing you can't handle.
as for employment. think that depends a lot on where. certainly going to need to go to acadamy, probably wear a uniform a year or two.
