What flights should I look for? Are there airports on Staten Island or what is the closest airport to fly into?

The closest airport that you will have to Staten Island is going to be either Newark, NJ or JFK in Long Island. I would probably go with JFK. I believe that it would be cheaper for all of the tolls that would have to be taken to get to and from the airports. I know that going across the Varrazano is about $48 in a semi going west.

You will need to go to Kennedy International Airport, in Long Island and from there take a bus or a really expensive cab.
