It's a really old movie with Sir Anthony Hopkins. I know the premise--reincarnation of his deceased daughter, but I never knew the ending. Can someone 'spoil' it for me? Movie Pooper doesn't have it. Thanks!

audrey rose-1979, at the end, the mother at the request of hopkins character, allows audrey to be hypnotized to try to release his daughters soul and help her find peace,but while under,audrey relives the car crash thet killed the girl and audrey "chokes" on the smoke and dies, then it ends with the mom and hopkins keeping in touch because both believe their daughter's are both at peace. hope that helps.

I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the book. Ivy dies in the end as a result of being put under hypnosis and reliving the car accident that killed Audrey and her mother.
