It depends on your religion and location. For most, Sunday is the first day of the week. For Europe and South America, it's Monday; for Muslims it's Saturday.

no. saturday is. according to the bible god worked for six days then rested on the seventh, the holy sabbath, which is sunday, and that makes saturday the first day of the week.

In the American calendar, and likely used elsewhere in the American continents, the first day is Sunday.

In Europe, the calendar starts with Monday.

Depends what calendar you buy. I consider it the last day of the week but it is the first day of the week for sales in retail and other establishments.
