i'd buy my momma a new house on the water and my dad new ankles. I'd get my sister a new hybrid and i'd pay her way through pharmacy school. I think it would be pretty amazing to buy a couple random people on the street an apartment and a college education.

That's kind of a difficult question. One million on myself would be a lot of money, but isn't very much the grand scheme of things.
However, I'd probably donate it to an established, sensible environmental charity. Without a planet, there is no future. And I wouldn't want to waste the money on administration and the set up of a new charity or fund.

I don't know if i would want to spend a million dollars if i couldn't spend it on myself

My first choice would be to give it to a friend woh would then in turn give me some back. :-)
My second choice would be to give it to the church and some charity orgs.

I WOULD DEFINATLY START A BUSINESS, TO HELP CARE FOR ELDERLY OR CHILDREN I THINK THAT WOULD BE REALLY REWARDING
