Depends on the program, some programs have an option to use a proxy instead of traditional way of using internet. On Internet Explorer its Tools, Internet Options, Connections, Lan Settings. Then you check the Proxy box and type the proxy IP# or hostname and the port. I'm assuming you already have a proxy in mind that you want to use, just punch in its info there?
