The Patriots have a good chance of shutting down LT because they have a real football coach who will exploit weaknesses in the Chargers offensive line.

If they do that, the Patriots will win going away as Rivers will start turning the ball over left and right forcing things.

However, you are talking about the #1 running back in the league.

'Fraid not. Though LT is an awesome player, the Patriots must also contend with the other players on the team... The spotlight may be on LT, but there are the others lurking in the back (and fore) ground. Should be a good game. Go Chargers!

The Patriots couldn't stop him the last time these teams played as he ran for 134 yards and 2 TDs last season in Foxboro. To answer your question though...the answer is no. The Chargers have a great defense and Antonio Gates is a huge mis-match for the Patriots safeties.

I would say so. LT is the chargers. Rivers isnt the answer. However shutting him down is easier said than done.

absolutely not, the chargers still have a great quarterback in Philip Rivers and arguable the best tight end in the league, the only way they can stop the best running back in the league and the best fullback in the league is to put 8 men in the box which should help Philip rivers pick apart the secondary. This games goes to whoever plays better

I think if they shut down LT they will win, but it will be close. However no one will ever shut down LT. GO CHARGERS!

It would be easier, but they still have to deal with Antonio Gates and the other Chargers receivers.
