Preferably near to the Cardiff International Arena (CIA). any web site suggestions would be welcomed. This would be for a Friday and Saturday night.

The CIA is right in the centre, so any hotel in the centre should be easy to get to. I've heard good things about http://www.thebigsleephotel.com/, but have never stayed there (as I live in Cardiff!). There are lots of B&Bs in Cathedral Road, which is a bit further from the centre, but easy to get to if you don't mind a short walk or taxi ride.

You will be lucky to find a cheap bed and breakfast or a cheap hotel at this time of year as the place is .heaving at this tine of yearIf you go onto the internet and put in hotels or guest houses that may give you some information.

mate i would try the Marriott hotel very Central or for cheap i stayed about 15 Min's walk from there at the travel in Cardiff bay , cheap and really nice staff had to stay there for 6 weeks rooms are typical travel lodge but the owners keep it very clean !

Youth Hostel, it's about 10 minutes from the city centre right by Roath park, there is a frequent bus that stops right outside, either get the 28 or 29B.

There are a few choices, there is the big sleep and the ibis both within 30 seconds walk of the cia and are both resonably priced, they both have web sites. good luck

big sleep hotel is good. but if you want cheap you will have to go for some guest houses on newport road then take the bus from there to town.

I Heard Travel Lodge is quite cheap
Or the Hotel YMCA isn't bad they say, free as well (lol, joke)
