my first test was one of those new digital ones from ept and it said pregnant..so i went to the doctors office and took one there and it come back negative..I still havent gotten my period and I dont any signs of pregnancy...thanks for your help!!

I would believe the doctor's office, if they did a blood test. You could've had a chemical pregnancy, meaning you fertilized an egg and then it never developed - this could've been enough for one positive test and then the subsequent negative.
If I were you, I'd wait another week. If you still don't get a period, then test again, checking the pregnancy test ONLY in the 5-10 minute window the manufacturer suggests (the test sometimes develops an "evaporation line" later in the day, making it look positive). If that is positive, then go back to the doctor's for another test.

Ok heres the deal yes a doctor is more reliable but the doctor is not God take another test maybe from another brand instead of EPT or go to a different doctor or you could just wait and see if u get ur period if u dont then well u know ur pregnant maybe u wanna wait a week see if u get it and then take the test but either way if u dont get ur period soon seek a 3rd opinion perferibly a doctor

A false positive is quite rare. But a false negative is not. Maybe the test at the Dr. office wasn't as sensitive to the HCG hormone as the one you took at home. Or maybe the one at home was done with concentrated first morning urine. Try another one and take it first thing when you wake up in the morning.

The best thing I can suggest it to retake the doctor's office pregnancy test. The EPT, though very reliable, could had given you a false positve.

I had 2 pos home test and the doc urine said no.... I waited 2 more days and took another test at a free clinic and it was pos...... My doc test is 50ml and the free clinic is 20 ml thats why i was getting neg.. Now Im almost 5 weeks PG

the doctors office is accurate if your still worried go back to the doctor in about a week or so and get another one done but its more than likely if the doctor says your not pregnant then your not

Either wait one week and go to the Drs. office again for another preg. test, or ask your Dr. to order a blood test to see if you are preg.
