Not as long to eat it as to get around to eating it.
Orcas catch seals andoss them into the air ( mothers didn't teach them not to play with their food) This is done many times to remove the indigestible skin. So the tossing motion is for skinning its prey. Once the skin has been removed the whale is able to swallow the meat quite quickly, Sort of gone in 60 seconds and then off to find another.
